I've found Oblivion to be one of the worst offenders ever since my day-one disk installation which was a nightmare that started with not being able to autorun the installer. By stability, I mean frequent crashing, either CTD or hang. ![]() Greywolf1: Let me repeat: Don't expect your problems to disappear "magically" when you try the GOG version! If it happens, then the problem would very likely have been solvable in Steam, too (not that I prefer Steam over GOG, just the opposite, but this is about problem solving, not about personal preferences).ĭo you want to explain what you mean by "stability issues"? Chances are that you're not the only one having these problems, and that there exists a solution, or at least an explanation, which might help you decide whether moving to GOG is worth trying. ![]()
